Miriam Barnard
Director
Miriam Barnard is the Director of Finance and Operations at NoVo in Kingston, and has been in this role since May 2024. Before joining the NiK team, Miriam dedicated the last 15+ years to strengthening public and community media organizations in New York and across the country, including WNYC radio, Democracy Now! Productions, and KBOO community radio in Portland, OR. She has also worked in leadership roles at a variety of nonprofit organizations working towards a more just and equitable world for all, focusing on issues such as alternatives to incarceration and prisoner re-entry, supporting those living with HIV/AIDS, and LGBTQ rights.
