Today we dissect Theresa’s new/repeat asymmetrical, yet to be named, haircut and how cutting her hair is the art project she always wanted. This leads to a conversation about women’s hair and age appropriate haircuts…WHAT? Yes, they exist.
KayCee Wimbish arrives and rescues us from our hair-talk to share about all the amazing work the Kingston YMCA Farm Project is up to. As an urban farm, their mission is to expand community food access and healthy eating to Kingston residents. In addition, they also help educate and employ Kingston High School students, teaching them about farming and healthy food preparation.
Sammi Niss joins us to talk about being a powerful drummer, how she felt being diagnosed with cancer at the age of 27, and the difficult challenges recovering from chemo even after being cancer free. Sammi is releasing a solo album on May 14th, 2018, and plays her first solo show as Hiding Behind Sound at the Colony in Woodstock, NY Monday, April 30th at 8:00pm.
