Hello Hello! Happy Halloweeeeeen!!! Theresa is BACK and in the house

Today on the show we premiered Shana’s new Depeche Mode cover track of “Stripped” .

Our first interview today is Anne Brannen, aka Pandora. She is a Wiccan Priestess, also works in reclaiming the Feri tradition, she is a retired professor of Medieval Studies, now living with her wife in Albuquerque New Mexico. She is pursuing her artistic and poetic side after years of other musings. Shana originally heard her interviewed on the Ask Pomegranate Podcast Ep 14, it’s a great interview as well, she talked about her 30 years of sobriety and her spiritual coaching, teaching online courses in magic, so Shana reached out and worked with Pandora last year. When reaching out for this interview, it was made clear that her new life is in exploring her artistic side with art classes and reclaiming her inner child. So this interview is multifaceted exploring a bit of the past but mostly focusing on what it’s like to move into the last 1/3 of your life, letting go of your identity as it were and becoming someone you once knew but had sort of forgotten!

Jude arrived! Our second guest is Jude-Laure Denis, a queer Haitian Buddhist activist focused on unpacking the barriers white supremacy creates to building Beloved Community. As the former Executive Director of POWER (Pennsylvanians Organized to Witness, Empower & Rebuild) Northeast, Jude is no stranger to community action and activism. She is committed to fostering truly healthy, inclusive and just communities by building a multi-racial justice movement that is predicated on a clear understanding of both how white supremacy and white domination operate at a systemic and individual level, and how oppression negatively impacts us all.

Today’s show was engineered by Manuel Blas of Radio Kingston, www.radiokingston.org.
We heard music from Shana Falana, http://www.shanafalana.com/, and audio from the film, She’s Beautiful When She’s Angry, http://www.shesbeautifulwhenshesangry.com
